The excursion leaves Richards Bay and travels north along the coast to the Emdoneni Wildcat Rehabilitation Center in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

A guided tour about the endangered wild cat species of South Africa is available through Emdoneni Cat Project. The Emdoneni Cat Project's mission is to provide care and rehabilitation for several wild cat species that have suffered injuries or are orphaned in the wild. Visitors can get a unique and thrilling opportunity to literally get up close and personal with Emdoneni's spectacular cat species through their guided tour. At Emdoneni, there are four different kinds of wild cats: African Wildcat, Caracal, Cheetah, and Serval. You can take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime chance while learning on a trip.
